Introduction:: The 1.45km BFA Channel starts from the site of BFA Establishment Conference and passes through Wanquan River to the permanent of forum on Dongyu Island. The tunnel is 1.2km long, and its cofferdam project commenced on May 26 and at present, the project is at the stage of shore section construction. BFA Channel will effectively mitigate the traffic pressure during BFA Annual Meeting, and is critical to the international image of BFA. It is required to accelerate the construction progress in a hypernormal way provided that both safety and quality are guaranteed, and make emergency plans in case of any accident during the coming typhoon season. All projects in BFA area shall have the characteristics of high quality, safety and clean governance since they represent the international tourism island. Horizon Equipment developed a comprehensive solution in view of product quality, construction technology, service team, safety and security to effectively eliminate problems in construction; For the coarse sand layer, mechanical arms ((≥ 470°/s), vibratory hammers (≥90) and built-in substrates were used. To cope with the strong construction intensity, a number of field managers competent of coordination, organization and management were arranged to ensure 24h uninterrupted and synchronous construction at multiple points on both banks after commencement. To meet the high requirements on sealing up, "splay piles", assembled and welded either in base or field, were used, and the verticality was effectively corrected during construction.
