Project Solution：A total of 700 tons of steel supports, 16 axial servo systems, 875.75 extension meters for 800-mm grouting piles, and a large-span steel support system

Introduction:
In April 2017, our company began to undertake the Taiyuan Pengcheng Jiayuan project. The project has a large excavation depth (maximum depth of 14.47 meters) and a complex surrounding environment with buildings on both the east and west sides, and close to the foundation pit (about 5 meters). Controlling the deformation of the support structure is the key part of this project. Reasonable enclosure structures and support forms must be chosen to minimize the impact of pit construction on the surrounding areas. Therefore, the “prefabricated steel pipe shoring” system independently developed by Horizon Equipment is used for internal support in this project. It adopts a standard modular and high-precision assembly process and other state-of-the-art technologies, such as prestressed synchronous loading and 24-hour uninterrupted axial force monitoring. Compared with traditional steel pipe supports, prefabricated steel pipe supports can obtain larger excavation spaces. During the construction process, many difficulties were overcome, and the tasks in various construction milestones were completed on time and with good quality, which received unanimous praise from the owner, the general contractor, and design institute.
