As the largest overseas investment project in the history of Samsung Electronics’ overseas investment, the project is also the largest foreign-invested high-tech project in the electronic industry in China, as well as the largest single investment project in western China since 1949. With an investment of USD 7 billion for the first phase, the total investment of the project will reach USD 30 billion. As the largest project in western China, more than a dozen aerial work platform rental companies were eyeing it. However, with its highly competitive pricing and excellent services, Shanghai Horizon Equipment successfully bid for the Samsung project in Xi’an. With its own advantages, it has taken the lead in aerial work platforms in the Xi’an Samsung project. Since the first contract was signed for 6 sets of equipment on May 17, 2013, the company has provided rental services for a total of 111 aerial work platforms for the project.
