Project Name：Steel Sheet Pile and Steel Support Subitem Construction for the Foundation Pit Excavation-Support of Taicang Pump Station on the Biandan River Water System

Project Solution：450kN pile driver for steel sheet pile construction, and 200kN excavator in cooperation with 25t autocrine for steel sheet pile loading and unloading.

Introduction:
This is the preliminary support project of Taicang Pump Station on Biandan River Water System. According to the design drawings, the steel sheet pile is 224 linear meters long and the maximum foundation pit excavation depth is 9m. This project is constructed on silty sand. According to design, 525 12m steel sheet piles and 35 15m steel sheet pipes are used. The design construction period is 10d; the actual number of piles used in construction is 570, and the actual construction period is 7d. The project is characterized by a low construction difficulty and loss of pile. The general contractor of this Project is an individual with surname of Yang affiliated to Anhui Luyi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. With limited knowledge of steel sheet pile construction, he changed the drawing design without approval, leading to increasing construction risks and difficulties in the subsequent settlement.
