Introduction:
The upgrading and reconstruction project of Nanjing Jiangxizhou Sewage Treatment Factory undertaken by CCIEE lies to the east of Huandao West Road, Jiangxinzhou, Jianye District with a total building area of 100,000m2. Recently, the bidding sections 1 and 2 are in the full construction stage. In bidding section 1, more than half of the body structures of stilling well, fine grating chamber, aerated grit chamber and biological aerated filter have been constructed while the deep-bed filter, backwash pump house and wastewater retention basin in bidding section 2 are under construction intensively. As the largest one of its kind in Jiangsu Province, Jiangxinzhou Sewage Treatment Factory has been concerned by the public since May 2017 when its construction commenced, and was listed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection as a key project under supervision in 2017. The project aims to build an international and ecological sewage treatment factory in line with high standards. The constructor is responsible for upgrading and capacity expansion. After reconstruction, Jiangxinzhou Sewage Treatment Factory can not only realize an improvement of daily sewage treatment capacity to 670,000t, but also output water with quality to 1A grade according to the highest emission standards of China.
